About

I’m a self-described political rubber-necker.  The train wreck that is our political system is for me at least can’t miss entertainment. Some ignore it altogether. Others are interested, but don’t have the time to follow the action. Others still choose to avert their attention in order to save their sanity. This blog, my friends, is for all of you.

I, your humble servant, will pledge to watch the egos and bloviating and posturing and policy-wonk talk – all of it — so that you don’t have to.  You’re welcome.

Here is how I’ve set up my site:

With the 2016 election cycle in the rear-view mirror, I’ll be turning my attention to the more mundane day-to-day workings of our government.

My primary outlet will be taking in the Sunday Morning Talk Shows. (I’ve got posts categorized under the“Sorting Through The Stuff I’ve Watched” heading on every page of my site.) This is one of the best places to get the pulse of Washington — be it the newest talking points or the latest spin control. I’ll watch all four of the major morning shows: NBC’s Meet the Press, CBS’s Face the Nation, ABC’s This Week, and Fox News Sunday.

I’ll also take in major events – speeches, hearings, and any other yummy political events that are worthy of our attention.

If you feel like taking a trip down memory lane, There you’ll find my “Debate Analysis” candidate “Power Rankings” and everything else I’ve been watching for you!

Please let me know what you think, or if you have any ideas for things you’d like me to cover. Thanks!
